Get a mild soap, such as Kiss My Face olive oil soap.
The source of the problem is probably your detergent. Are you using a popular fragranced commercial detergent? Wash everything you own ten times with out any detergent (especially your towels!!) and switch to a mild fragrance free detergent (make sure there isn't a masking agent), such as Seventh Generations Free and Clear. Only use one teaspoon at most.
Also, your lotion could be the problem. "Purpose" is a good one.
Finally, look at your shampoo. Try Free and Clear ( get online).

Sounds to me like your skin maybe a little dry to begin with and your water at home may have high levels of chlorine in it to clean the water and this is aggravating your skin even more.
What my wife used to do when she got this was while she was in the shower and after washing she would apply baby oil to her skin in the shower. It would help the skin to retain more moisture and make it softer and less sensitive.

You may have an allergic reaction to the soap that you're using. Try switching to a brand like Dove or something like that. Also, it's winter and the air has a low humidity.

You might consider getting different brands of soap/shower gel/shampoo since the ones you are using might contain chemicals that irritate your skin.

Use a moisturizing cleanser. Your cleanser is too harsh and stripping your skin of it's natural oils. Oil of Olay Ribbons is an excellent product to retain moisture plus it smells really good too.

Spray your favorite perfume/cologne on the areas most itchy.
It works for me, and feel fresh at the same time.
Applying baby powder will do also.

change your soap / shower gel brand, or it could be the wasing powder brand you need to change.
the chemicals which are left in your clothes and in towels can make you itch, switch to non-biological if it could be this

You have dry skin. You need to put lotion on before going to bed at night so that your skin isnt as dry.
