Shes always yelling at me for no reason. She doesn't listen to my side of the story. I went to the movies with some friends the other day and my phone was on silent so i didn't know she called. And when I did check it, it didn't say any missed calls or anything, because the theatre has HORRIBLE reception. So I got in the car and got screamed at that I didn't call her back.
Then she says that I'm a selfish b**** and it makes me want to die,..b/c I knoe im not that way. I dont like it b/c I cry too easily. Then she tells me to come give her a hug like nothing happened. All she does is critisie me and yell at me. What do I do?!

Sit yo mama down and say'' Mother first and foremost I love you but it isn't nessasry for you to be yelling at me"No disrespect to you..Secondly if I have a cell phone odviously I am responsible enough to know how it works.The next time I go some where it will be on unless I am in Church(ha-ha)Thirdly ask her what it means that you are selfish seems to me she sounds selfish because she is not letting you grow up.

Even though it hard to tell sometimes parents do stuff like that because they care. It sounds like your mom was worried about you, but that doesn't mean calling you names is ok. You could try to talk to your mom (when you were both in a good mood and neither of you are too stressed) about how you feel when she gets that upset with you, and that you were hurt by being called a name. It's ok to cry, especially around your mom. It doesn't mean you are weak if you cry, people deal with problems and upsetting emotions different ways and that's ok.

It sounds like your Mum has some serious issues of her own that she is having problems dealing with. When is the last time you asked her how she was doing? I mean, really listened to her? Maybe one of the reasons she is constantly on your back is because she misses hanging out with you, and is worried about you growing up so fast. Maybe she just needs a friend. You say she doesn't pay attention to your side of things, maybe you should pay closer attention to hers.

You need to act more responsible...call her before you go into the movie theatre to check in and tell her that you are okay! She is worried about you and does not want anything to happen to her child which is you! The world is full of weirdos and people that want to harm you...you should be very thank ful that you have someone that loves you so much!

hhmm... it might actual be that she LIKES the coiffure. or she might decide to have something in common with you. or...as you're saying your self: "its annoying me " Or it might desire to be all 3. perchance, in case you sat down along with her... and talked to her on your very own words somewhat of having the television to write down your script for you... and be calm and honest, you will discover out what's happening by purely asking. Ask her, "mom... this might seem strange... yet i actually experience such as you're copying the stuff I do. Are you? and while you're....why?" you will get your answer. and don't chuckle at her. cruelty will purely make issues undesirable.
