Ok guys. I know I asked this same question earlier but we are still trying to decide and I asked a question the other day about this and since then we have come up with 3 names we like. He is a 7wk old black labradoodle puppy. The first name is Sirus (Sie-rus). I like this name because it is strong, easy to call, and masculine. The second name is Ozzy. This is the name my mother likes and is sort of a neutral between mine and my sisters. The third is Cosmo. It is ok, buy my sis is the one that likes it the most. I think we will get tired of it after so many years but I thought I would see what you guys have to say. Also if you have some names throw them at me. Thanks!!

Ok guys I guess I should have added that I am 14 and it is the family dog, not just mine so we all will be taking care of it. Also I think there is a lot of speculation of what a labradoodle is. A labradoodle is a cross between a lab and poodle, ours is a F1-B. That means its mother is a first generation labradoodle (50-50) and the father is a AKC standard poodle. Labradoodles were bred in 1989 to try and find a hypoallergenic seeing eye dog for a blind women whos husband was allergic to dogs. Right now they are what you would call a "designer dog." Soon though they will be AKC but even though they can still run a hefty price tag of $1000+. Luckily we got ours for only 300 because it was local and they are black, most desirable labradoodles are apricot in color, which are a lot more. THANKS TO ALL WHO ANSWER!!

all of those names sound great. the best way to solve this since this is a family dog is to have each person put their choice for a pet name on a piece of paper and then put it into a hat or something of that nature. then have somebody, maybe a neighbor or a friend pick out one of the pieces and which ever name is picked is the name of the dog. this seems fair because everybody has an equal chance of deciding what the name will be. hope this helps.

Go With Ozzy. We have an F1B named Dexter. Great dogs. Wild spurts at times but extremely smart.

i like Ozzy.. i think its cute for a poodle mix.. and not to be rude- but I dont care how much you paid for your dog- the higher the price tag the dumber the owner as far as I am concerned!

I think the name Sirus is an awesome name. Maybe you could compromise and make one of the others the middle name?

I don't really think any of those names are right for a lab or a poodle?? Go to google and google "dog names" lots of site with hundred of dog names will pop up! thats how I found my puppy's name. :)
