What have been your experiences in witnessing in a BOLD way to others online, were they posotive or negative? What types of responses have you gotten from those you witness to in such a way?

I myself ususally am accepted by all people of all faiths in person, they respect me and I them. However online I think they are less responsive to one's witness, because it seems too impersonal to them. What is YOUR take on this?

The spirit guides me differently with each person. I think that is just the way it is, since people are different in how they can hear things.

Most recently, I had the most touching experience. I was on a cruise and I was talking to one of the officers, it was night and we were standing on the bridge deck, looking at a sky full of stars and the moon was shining on the water. He looked out and gestured at the sky and said, "I can't comprehend all this". I turned to him and smiled and said, "but it's so simple, you just take God at His word".

Most people think the answers are difficult and hidden, but they're neither. And sometimes just planting a little seed is all God wants us to do.

I actually find it easier to witness about God and Jesus on line as I have time to look up the exact scripture I need and am not put on the spot. I would hate to misinform someone because I didn't know the exact chapter and verse I quoted. I usually haven't had any trouble w/anyone on line when I witness, unless its the atheists, and the unbelievers and that is cause God is working His way into their hearts and convicting them, and they don't like that.

In person I have a better response, maybe because I can explain things better. Here on Yahoo I mainly plant seeds from the word of God. Like God said in Isa 55:11 "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I send it".

Face to face is much better, but you never know, some might become saved from what you share with them on here. I get a lot of thumbs downs, but I don't let it get to me.

Why should anyone witness? I am Jewish, and I never make a point to refer to my religion when I am out with people. We believe in live and let live.

On Yahoo-Christians are the most obnoxious group. They are most disrespectful to those of different beliefs. If anything, they can really turn people off.

By "bold" do you mean copying the way of the master website verbatim?
