Except for the different trim packages, is there a difference between the F-150 Lariat, HD, or King Ranch?

it depends on how they are ordered, what engines and transmissions, I think the HD even has a supercharger :)

These trim packages are just that. The running gear is basically the same with the exception being the HD which has a supercharged engine. I have the King Ranch and I love it. The seats are made from saddle leather. Go to www.ford.com and look around at the trim levels or request a brochure. If you're using the truck for work though you may want to go to a lower trim level, so you won't have to worry about messing up the interior. I try to keep mine looking like new.

No real differences depends on the options you want and how luxuries you want the interior of your Truck (cloth, leather, saddle leather) with each trim level (XL, XLT, Lariat and King Ranch vs Harley Davidson)

and motor sizes
4.6L V8
5.4L V8
5.4L V8 Supercharged *Harley Davidson Edition*

& rear ends
3:55
3:73
4:10's

Best bet is to check out Fords Website to compare each trim level and motors, rear ends to get an idea of the differences:

They are all wrong the older hd 03 and before came with superchargers, the new one doesn't, it is just an apperance package stuff. The only difference between those trim levels are the seats and different interior options and color options. go to fordvehicles.com and you can build and price all of the f-150s and see what one fits you best.

The ones you mentioned are differentiated only by appearance. The Harley edition and King Ranch have a high quality leather, badging, and other visuals.

For the most part, you can custom order your F-150. Aside from engine choices (4.6L or 5.4L Triton) you can select wheel sizes, different axles ratios, and accessories. The different axles affect your towing and payload capacity.
