And what part of the Bible conflicts with math and physics. Yes there are some things that cannot be explained, some miracles, one about the sun standing still but this has actually been proven Mathematically. Some Astronomers were trying to calculate something and they took facts from a time period before this and applied it to today and it didn't work. One of the Scientists suggested this one extra day and when they plugged it in it worked. I don't really know how it worked or what exactly they were trying to figure out because I am terrible at Math but it is so weird that this actually worked.

If you truly are a saved, born again Christian, then purchase a Strongs Exhaustive to go with your King James Bible. You can look up every word in the bible and realize the Bible is True.
Also, make sure you trust the Holy Spirit to give you the gift of Godly understanding in His Word.
To me the bible doesn't have inconsistencies. When I first started reading it, Mormons and JWs confused me so I purchased a Strongs Exhaustive. That really helped me.
In response to an earlier answerer, Paul said that he dedicated his life to God, and it would be good if others would do the same. But if a person wants a spouse, to get married. It is a doctrine of devils to forbid marriage. Or to say that it makes someone a lesser Christian to get married. But it is true that when one is totally dedicated to God and doesn't have a spouse, it is easier to be totally dedicated to God. A spouse, children is more responsiblity. But still one can love spouse and children and serve them as unto the Lord.
People will see inconsistencies in the bible if they have rejected Jesus Christ Lord and Gods redeeming Grace.

Some people here obviously have a different interpretation of the words "inconsistency" and "contradiction" from the general horde. You can stick your fingers in your ears, close your eyes and say "I'm not listening, I'm not listening" as much as you like but that doesn't alter the fact that the Bible is full of inconsistencies and is often just plain wrong.
Most Christian religions accept that the Bible is largely metaphorical, it cannot be otherwise. It is a book of religion not a book of science. It even gets the history wrong.
"some miracles, one about the sun standing still but this has actually been proven Mathematically. "
It hasn't been proved at all because it is impossible. For the Sun to appear to stand still, the Earth would have to stop rotating about its axis. The total disaster that would bring to the planet isn't mentioned in the Bible, I would have thought they would have noticed.

there are so many, it says in one place that forbidding to marry is the doctrine of Devils, yet, the catholic church somehow preaches by example that it is a HIGHER calling to be Celibate. I prefer to say They dont know what they are talking about.
i like the testimony of Paul, saying that he both saw and heard the lord apear but that the others with him did see and heard something. he writes the ONE testimony first and the second testimony disagrees with it. frankly its been 15 years, so i forget the exact words used. but bringing to the attention of my father, he said there is no disagreement in the two testimonies.
Ok there are also the genealogies of mary and joseph. They seem to disagree with each other.
then there are the "Dates" of jesus birth. according to the texts, one gospel says he was born in one era and the other says it was in a different season.
the ones i hear from muslims is that Jesus says Do not resist evil. while paul says resist and the devil will flee. The one muslim who taught me this saying Was so adamant about resisting all evil he made it look like the whole bible is completely deranged.
well, not everything in the bible is completely screwed up. it took me a lot of tears to study the truths i know. It takes a lot of humility to bring ones' heart in humility to bow before the Lord and be saved. but a perfect salvation cannot be obtained from the books of scriptures throughout the worlds religions. A perfect heart is guided by the Holy Ghost, and the best kept secrets can only be given through Revelation. From the Lords own lips himself. Some of the revelations i have seen and heard are directly found in the scriptures so there is still some amount of credibility. But man! i cannot trust most preachers and teachers to teach me the truth, especially the second, i hear bias on their lips and i already Know what they teach is not true.

Yeah ther are none, and anyone that says there is, is not well versed in the Bible. After all I can take something out of context and make it seem to be a contradiction but when put with the context, it's not. Oh and thank you for whoever it is that posted the website because you absolutely prove my point.

Why argue with anyone? Bible inconsistensies are rampant, if that is all you are looking for. But there is much more to it then we can ever learn and know. I doubt you could convince many people who find fault, but there is so much good there. I can find inconsistencies in the U. S. Constitution, and in Winnie the Pooh books, if I wanted to hang my beliefs on obscure findings. I do not.

You should always keep an open mind when it comes to religion. Just because something appears to be a "proven fact", it doesn't make it true. What are you gonna lose by learning as much as you can about everything life has to offer. Don't worry yourself with the small inconsistencies. Keep your mind open and all the answers will come to you.

Inconsistencies are always do to a lack of understanding. I can tell you two different things one being spiritual and one being physical and one would consider them contradictions. An Eye for an Eye and a tooth for a tooth. Compare that to turn the other cheek. both are in the word and both are true.

You must not have been looking very hard because the inconsistencies, as you call them, begin "in the beginning" of the Bible. Children usually notice them and ask questions about them before adults do. They can see no logic behind them, unlike an adult who can simply poo-poo the Bible's erroneous nature by saying something trite like, you just have to have "faith".
But good for you for leaving rational thought behind. Who needs science right? That gravity theory is bullsh*t. With the right pair of shoes everyone can walk on the ceiling. Jesus walked on water didn't he? And physics, what a load of crap that is. Those crazy atheists. According to their belief in physics, the Red Sea would never have parted. But Christians know better man. Good for you for knowing the facts man.
