i have a yorkie and i used to give her commericial dog food and stopped using that after it gave her problems so now i feed her royal canin yorkie 28 dog food (hard crunchy) and i give her chicken breasts cut up on top.. im gonna ask my vet if thats alright but do u think shes getting enough?

Um, follow the instructions on the bag.. almost ALL bags of dog food have a recommended feeding amount. maybe give the dog the fresh chicken breast as treats through out the day... A dog that size doesnt need to eat more than maybe a cup of food each day.

It sounds as if she is getting plenty to eat. A healthy weight doesn't mean that a dog is chubby. You should be able to feel her ribs without actually seeing the skeletal outline of her body.
