Is the transfigured Christ of the Resurrection somehow Gnostic?

My opinion is no. The transfiguration seems very much part of the physical world. Gnosticism is geared more toward the spiritual aspect of religion.

I don't see how. Gnosticism is a dual divinity of the male/female or at least an equality in the gender of divinity, and he seems to remain male throughout the story.
