This is a movement disorder called chorea (which means dance in greek). There are multiple disorders which have involunatry movements. The most well known is probably Huntingtons Disease. Others include Sydenham's chorea (aka St. Vitus' Dance).

Several condition can cause jerky movements. Parkinson's, Huntington's, Addison's, and Tardive Diskanesia. The Tardive also causes lip smacking and involuntary limp twitches. Also Teredst Syndrome may cause this. Soory bout the spelling

Sounds like Parkinson's Disease. Could be many other things also because the nervous system is quite a complex issue. Go to a Neruologist. That might be the best thing to do. Good luck.
