Being as you didn't tell us how much was withheld, no one can answer that question for you. There are also other factors, like are you married and have kids.
If you want to spend 3 or 4 minutes, there's a great tax estimator that I've linked to below. You just enter the appropriate info in each one of the buttons.

It really depends on what else you have going on. You will have the standard deduction and personal exemption of $5,150 and $3,000 respectively. So you're looking at paying taxes on about $30,000. If you have things you can itemize or credits you can take that will reduce it. You looking at about $4,100 of tax. If you paid in more than that then you'll get a refund.

It all depends on how much you had withheld. You can find a few tax estimators on the hrblock website. IT not what you made so much as how much you had withheld.

try going to hr block and using some of their tax estimators to figure it out.
*You would do yourself a huge favor to learn how to file your own taxes. If you can navigate the internet with ease, can email etc., you can certainly learn how to file your tax return--- its way esaier than most people think. You can save money by learning how to file, and filinf electronically for free, and recieve your refund in just a few weeks.
wishing you luck and a happy tax return =)

Sure, why not?
You overwithheld for the most pessimistic case by about $3000.
You may want to readjust your W4 so you get more $$$ each paycheck, UNLESS your 38K was for only a partial year salary.
