I asked everyone what their religion was and what their religion meant for them. I also asked athiests what they do believe in if anything, and why they feel that way. I also included an explanation of my question, stating that I am not judging or asking out of spite or whatever. I simply want to hear everyone's viewpoints, and I also wanted everyone to read the other responses given. My intent was that if everyone saw the different points of view and how there is good in everyone, as well as good in all religions, then perhaps we would stop judging people for being different. I also hoped that people would realize that we all have reasons for what we believe, and that it, as well as the right to believe whatever we choose to believe, is important to every single person. This question was really important to me, and I didn't see anything wrong with what I asked. I would just like to know why it was erased. If anyone can give me any suggestions, I'd really appreciate it.

Also, I would like to thank all of you who answered my question when I posted it and those of you who read the answers given. I really appreciate the time you took, and I hope that my efforts were not in vain.
To all of you who are persecuted for your beliefs or lack thereof, I just want you to know that you are not alone. Hopefully we can all get past the hatred and intolerance, at least here on yahoo! answers.

Yahoo Answers has a community flagging system setup. And if any post or question gets flagged that magic number of times then Yahoo will generally remove the question or the post. This is not always fair as some people offend more easily than others but I'm afraid this is probably the explanation for which your question was taken down. I can only say to try again and hope that immature users don't flag you next time.

sweetie who knows what goes through the minds of those who report and delete
i asked once that everyone writes a poem for those who have made a difference to them on yahoo
and i had some gorgeous poems that people obviously put a lot of thought into
moments later it was reported and all the work went
it is very sad

I didn't see it, but perhaps it's more appropriate fot the yahoo user forum than a Q&A forum?

your question gets erased because somebody reports you, then yahoo investigates their claim, and then erases your question. sorry :( but your not the only that has had a good, legitimate question erased either.
