I have noticed a lot of people have kids lately and it seems like they are doing it so they can have something to dress up and have beside them in a matching stroller or something? Maybe they don't mean to come across this way, but have you noticed this same trend?

Honestly. I really don't think so. People are having kids for the same reasons they always have, just society has placed so much emphasis on appearances that people feel they have to dress their kids up. People give me crap if I just take the kids to the grocery after a park playdate, like I MUST abuse them if they ever are tousled and dirty.

No, I think that people want their children to look pretty in society, and always wear their Sunday best. I dress my children up in nice clothes when it's a special occasion. A lot of people, which is the major problem, are just having children, because it's time to have children. You should have children because you know you are ready for it. Not because, oh I am 38 I should have children, and then some people can't handle it. It's the same way with some men, Oh we have been together for 5 yrs I think she deserves marriage. Something like that. Where I live, which I live in a major city, I never see coordinating strollers with the outfits on. I just see a cute kid.

I imagine there are some sick people out there that would do that. I just couldn't imagine an accessory that does pretty much nothing but make noise, eat, and poop, suck up money, and last 18yrs (if ur lucky, usually its more).
I'm in no rush for any kids. Maybe when I'm in my thirties...

no people are havin more and more babies because they have unprotected sex with everyone on the block. they have to have a paternity test to figure out who the father is so they can sue for child support. that is the trend i have noticed.

Although my kids are very attractive they make lousy accessories since they make me look like crap.

YES I HAVE AND I HOPE YOUR NOT RIGHT. IT'S NOT FAIR TO THE KIDS. LIKE TRYING TO KEEP UP WITH YOUR NEIGHBORS. THEY DO THE SAME WITH THEIR PETS. DRESS THEM UP LIKE KIDS.
