It sounds similar to when one of our dogs was poisoned. That's the only thing I can think of at the moment.
I'm so very sorry for your loss.

This answer should come from your vet,Much depends on the age of the dog,and how you cared for her.Had she been ill? did she get all shots and regular check ups?Do you live in an area where heart worm regular treatment is absolutely essential? Many dogs are killed by heart worms,a worm that invades and destroys the heart. If you are saying pancreatic cancer? this is a short term and sure killer. You must remember that if you have a pet it must be taken to the vet just as often as a child sees a doctor. This can cost you just as much money. Please make the decision to do this if you get any type pet. I founded a large animal rescue organization years ago. It was very small but you learn to teach loving responsibility. Do take comfort in your love for your dogie, and that you care so much.Your vet could be at fault,Many doctors kill people, many vets kill pets both kinds can be inept.God give you his grace and comfort! I grieve with you

You just broke my heart. I also have a Chihuahua and I've learned one thing about them and that is, for whatever reason, their bodies are not as strong as other dogs are. They have more problems with their little bodies and bones than any other dog their size. Mine is a female, and somehow she got hip displacement and now whenever she stands by anyone, even another animal, she hicks up her hind leg like a boy dog and she looks so funny doing it, but for her that's the only way she can stand in one place without it hurting. They are such special little things and they require allot more attention and love than other dogs do. Replace her as soon as possible, and don't worry, you will never forget her, I promise. Take care and know our hearts go out to you for your loss.

She most likely went into cardiac arrest of the loss of blood. What seems like a little to us is a large amount to a body that is that small. What you need to figure out is why she was bleeding from her rectum. Her anal glands if they weren't emptied properly could have become empacted and caused them to rupture. There are many reasons that could have caused this. i hope that you figure out what has happened to your baby.

i have no idea. since your vet doesn't either, i would never use that vet again. i knew a man that took his dog to be spayed, dog died. a few month later he got another female. took that dog to the same vet, dog died. both times the vet didn't know why. learn from the first time, if the vet doesn't know, he never will know. i'm very sorry to hear of your dogs passing. but she is in dog heaven, no more pain, just running and playing.

i recognize maximum breeds, besides the undeniable fact that i'm no longer keen on the huskies. I actually have fostered 2 of them and one became outstanding. the different one wasn't what i'd opt for in a dogs, yet he went to a outstanding homestead who adores him. I also dislike the smaller breeds, quite often because they are many times spoiled, yappy brats. They receive the smallest quantity of self-discipline and maximum are not even allowed to have their feet contact the floor lest their little paws get airborne dirt and dust on them! Turns them into psychotic messes.

could have been any number of things but the ones that come to mind are shock from loss of blood or from just shock alone from have a needle put in to the leg. much like a human who as that split second of shock after they get a needle put into them.
