I have a drug test Thursday and took a couple of my husband's hydro's for a tooth ache...help! Will I pass that urine test? If not, is there a way I could?

They're not testing for prescription meds and will only be testing for illegal substances such as cocaine, marijuana, ecstacy, etc... You should be in the clear and don't worry about what the first answerer said, she's an idiot. Rx meds are taken by those other than the prescribee all the time and deaths don't happen; they are a pain killer and you took them to help manage your pain. You will be fine with the test.

I have a urine drug test tomorrow morning in between 8:30 am to 9:30 am. I have been taking hydrocodone norco 10/325 4x a day for a year and 3 months and haven t taken any in 12 days. Well, 5 days ago I took a half of one. I had one left because I had just had a major surgery and was taking more than I should because I was hurting so bad( I know that I shouldn t have and feel bad about it). I ran out 12 days ago but, saved one half in case I was to be tested by urine. I really need to continue receiving my meds because of my health issues so, my question is, if I take the last half of a 10/325 hydrocodone 2 to 3 hours before urine test, will I test positive and keep receiving my meds and do urine test just show that you re positive and how much is in your system or just show positive that it s in your system? Will I be safe? Please help!!!

You should be able to pass your drug test since Hydrocodone isnt considered illegal. They usually look at the most commonly abused drugs such as marijuanna, MDMA, Meth, etc. If you want to be honest, let them know prior to the test that you took some hydrocodone for a tooth ache or you can go the other way and buy some synthetic urine. The only place that I have seen synthetic urine is at this smoke shop that I go to... but I can't remember the name of the product right now. It is legit though and it really does work. My friend has used it twice for his drug tests and has passed both of them.

You should pass the test. It will only show up if they are specifically looking for hydrocodone and most likely they are looking for illegals...cocaine, marajuana, etc. It will be out of your system by then anyway so you should have nothing to worry about but do be careful taking other people's prescriptions.

if you really only took 2, they wont show up trust me...drink lots of water, I have passed 2 different tests with wayyy more than that in my body the same day of the test lol, its all about the water, just drink a mountain dew a couple hours b4 the test so ur pee isnt too clear

hydrocodone is not an illegal substance. it will only show up on the test if they are looking for it. tell the test person that you took it before you take the test. you should have no problems. they are only looking for illegal substances.

Well you should not have taken the hydrocodone. No matter how bad it hurt. I don't know how to get it out of your system.

It's illegal to take Rx drugs that aren't for you. Not to mention dangerous! I won't feel bad if you don't pass.
