when you do it ill look for wise men coming from the east LOL!
Jesus did drink wine he was even called a drunk by some folks the thing that is wrong is getting drunkl not drinking period !

(Matt.11:19 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, `Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and "sinners." ' But wisdom is proved right by her actions."

Lk.7:34. The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and you say, `Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and "sinners." ' )

some self roghteous folks want to make him over in thier own way not the way it realy was
this does not give us licence to go get drunk

(Eph.5:18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit. )

we must practice moderation in all things it is just as big a sin to overeat as it is to get drunk!how many fat folks claim to be followes of Christ!!

jesus drank at the customary jewish celebrations including the last supper meal in which it was common to drink atleast 4 cups of wine for the meal. there is some bible versus that warn of wine but as a whole drinking alcohol is not prohibited. if the fundies church doesn't want them to drink that is fine but i don't like how some of these fundies look down on others who do drink, even if it is moderately. the case of water into wine was jesus' first miracle performed at cana, i forget which passage to refere you to but you can see a foreshadowing of the eucharist in this and many other passages. i just noticed alot of people say wine meant grape juice, you can't get drunk on grape juice, and you can't decipher a greater grapejuice(more expensive) than the cheaper grape juice(the cheaper), because there is no such thing, why would jesus transform water into grape juice, and why would after all the expensive "grapejuice" was drank did the host put out the cheaper "grapejuice" as the guests would not be able to taste the differnce? grapejuice doesn't get you drunk and therefore we wouldn't be having this discussion about whether or not we can drink "grapejuice"......and yes jesus did get intoxicated.

I only know of one way but it's not as cool as the storybook. First you need some grape seeds, you plant them (here comes the water part) you give them plenty of water and sunshine. After a while (don't remember, but I think it's over a year) you will have grapes growing on the vines. Crush the grapes, let the juice ferment, and viola! Water into wine!

Wine then was not what wine is now!!!!! The wine Jesus had no alcoholic content. Wine then was like grape juice is today.

By the way, I'm against alcohol, purely for what it does to families. Money used to buy it could be used to take a kid shopping, or buy groceries or many other things that an alcoholic's family have to do without.

I'm not opposed to drinking alcohol. Yet I believe and teach that the Bible is the word of God.

Ps 104:14-15
14 He makes grass grow for the cattle,
and plants for man to cultivate--
bringing forth food from the earth:
15 wine that gladdens the heart of man,
(from New International Version)

www.watertowine.com j/k. Actually there was only one Greek word for grape juice that became interpreted to wine in the English language. So, the first recorded miracle of Christ was not fermented wine. God hates alcohol.

it is not a complete absolute truth that Jesus was ever drunk with wine!
and wine can be created through the same technology that makes Kool aid
However ONE modern prophet suggested that the very DNA of Water was changed at a molecular lever.
Because the DNA of all human life and the earth is based upon the DNA of OUR FATHER in heaven.
Jesus came to Save Sinners and call them to repentance he didnt come to become ONE of them. His actions his whole life were of that of a priest, a priest and a king were not allowed to be drunk with wine or strong drink. It is clearly written that all Saints be Sober and that the drunkard will not enter the kingdom of heaven.

You'll find that one on any of the excellent magic sites. Magic Castle has a good site, for example, and there's some where you can learn to make an elephant disappear or even fly like Copperfield. Good luck in your training, and maybe we'll see you onstage one day -or else hanging from a cross.

The wine they had back then was more juice, it had less alcohol then the wine we have today. Read the new testement ( first four books of it) You'll find the story somewhere in there and maybe you might learn something for your own good.
may God bless you and everyone that you love.
