The Bible isn't a fairy tale. What proof do you have that he's NOT evil?

The devil is the source of all hatred toward God and man. If you have ever noticed any hatred toward God or man, that's the proof.

Who else would have a reason to hate God....since most believe that He doens't even exist. Why hate a "Fairy Tale". Kind of stupid to do such a thing and make such a fuss about it.
Go lead your life and forget about the "Fairy Tale". Why waste your time?

But you can't forget about it , can you? You are being led.

I don't really believe in a "devil". I think the very concept is a way for people to pass on their negativity to some ultimate evil, a sort of supernatural scapegoat.

The concept of a devil, in Christianity, didn't even exist until around 100 C.E. This was when people started to interpret the bible incorrectly. "Satan" was a word that meant "one who opposes". A "satan" in the old testament referred to anything that opposed an action by a person. Also, "Satan" was a divine prosecuting attorney. He was meant to test men's hearts.

After 100 C.E., people began to think about this "Satan". This being must be the source of all evil, right? They ignored the verses that explicitly stated that God was both good and evil.

God has revealed the devil to us and he is of evil character.

If you are referring to the bible, I believe the bible to be the inspired word of God and take it as my authority. Sorry if that annoys you. His word says satan comes to steal, kill and destroy. That's only one description. None of them are good.

he loves all things that are evil, such as murder, robbery, adultery, ect. the law of the US is against those evils, and most people see them as bad things, except those that satan has told they are okay. he lies to us, and tells us bad things aren't bad. I think that says it all...

How do you know he even exists? What if the real problem is us, and we don't have any external malevolent intelligent force to blame at all?

they dont. they take the claims made by prehistoric men.

they fail to see that their god has killed millions more then the devil has ever even harmed.

they fail to see that the devil can only act if god grants him permission (according to the bible)

who is the real evil one...
