You don't boil them you fry them preferably in bacon grease, but butter or pan spray will work. They need to be shredded, this is pretty labor intensive. Add a little onion, and enjoy.

hi there I don't know if you are aware but Denny's hash brown potatoes are dehydrated potatoes that come in a container that the cooks at Denny's just add water too.If you still want to make hash browns do this>>Shred 1-2 potatoes of your choice(everyone has one that they like so I say just experiment); place the shredded potatoes onto a plate and add a little salt and pepper. Heat up some oil in a frying pan; then add the potatoes cook them until they start to brown on the edges ( try not to mess with them to much);then carefully flip them over after the edges are brown.Make sure your heat isn't to high and you give the potatoes enough time to cook. You can add a little grated onion to the potatoes if you want too.But do this when you are going to cook the potatoes so the onions will be able to blend with potatoes while cooking.Good Luck..

Put some margerine in a pan and on medium heat melt it. Use a grater and shred the potatoes...when the margerine is hot add the hashbrowns and let them brown good and then turn them and let them brown on the other side. I usually use leftover baked potatoes and don't even peel them. Salt and pepper...and cheese is always good on them too!!! Hope you have some great hashbrowns!!!

Do you mean Corned Beef Hash? The "Best" corned beef hash is out of a can, hormel brand. Denny's is canned.
