so i make my bf nervous around me.. he says its not me, he just gets totaly giddy and nervous.. not necessarily a bad thing, but i dont want to be imtimidating.. how can i not?

Just be yourself around him. This isn't about you it is about his own issues of insecurity and he needs to learn how to handle and deal with it. the longer he gets to know you I hope he will be able to relax around you. Just make him feel comfortable and reassure him of what your intentions are when you are together.

Dont be all up on him. Keep some distance and be subtle in contact. Some guys dont like to be touched.
Also he may be getting a real hard on and that scares most guys in the beginning. It's ackward having to explain the snake in your pants when you're young.

its his problem not yours, he seems worried about making wrong moves i think, its anxiety, i have the same problem
