what is the effect on somebody who takes the pill for fun not because they need it. In other words, pill poppers/druggies. I have suspicion that someone very close to me is doing it and I want to kno the symptoms of it and how many they are taking to get this way. (so that I can try and find their stash and take it away from them)

It’s a narcotic and depresses the central nervous system. If your friend is on it, you’ll probably see euphoria and drowsiness w/ a slow pulse & small pupils. There are a bunch of side effects for Vicodin, tho (& you don’t need to see all of them): weak breathing, clammy skin, weakness, dizziness, dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, sweating, itching, tinnitus.
Along with others, look up hydrocodone in Wikipedia or a med site.

Be careful with your plan to take your friend's stash. Narcotics are physically addictive; and, it may be dangerous for your friend to quit cold-turkey. Try to get him/her professional help.

Anyone who just takes any pill is messing with trouble and needs help. This medication can cause side effects that may impair your thinking or reactions.

Other possible side effects of Vicodin?

signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects:
shallow breathing, slow heartbeat;
seizure (convulsions);
cold, clammy skin;
confusion;
severe weakness or dizziness; or
feeling light-headed, fainting.
Less serious side effects are more likely to occur, such as:
constipation;
urinating less than usual;
nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite;
dizziness, headache; or
itching.
Side effects other than those listed here may also occur.

Best of luck

small pinpoint pupils. And don't just take it away. That person may have a real medical condition that you don't know about. Either way, you will cause withdrawl symptoms that are not good. Better to ease him/her off slowly. Talk to their doctor and get the doctor to wean them off the medication.
