I was wondering it is true what they say about garlic! Does it really kill viruses, such as stomach flu and influenza?? How much should a person take and is it safe for school age children? I was just reading an article on this and was wondering if anyone has tried it, and if it really works?

All I know about garlic is I started taking it five years ago for yearly sinus infections and I haven't had any kind of infection since.I also very seldom get a cold and I use to have lots.

Absolutely, garlic - onion family have curative qualities in them. Will they kill viruses - unknown. But they will help you deal with them. The food rule around my house is if it grows it is good but everything in moderation. Excesses can mess more than weight up.
