You both have lots of fire and lots of energy--- great while you're getting along, but not so good when you disagree. Could lead to 'fireworks"! Neither one of you is probably the type to play peacemaker and give in to the other...
Generally speaking, the most harmonious matches are usually those kind of across the zodiac from each other--- an earth sign with a water sign, an air sign with a fire sign, etc. Aries with Libra; Sag with Gemini....
Then again--- its just astrology, after all. And even within the science of astrology, there are many more factors than just the sun sign. I mean, realistically, how could there be only 12 types of personalities in the world? If things progress and it looks like you're getting serious, get your charts done.

A Sagittarius can be a great match for an Aries who will sometimes lose interest in a project halfway through. You always finish what your start, and a Ram can learn a lot from your dedication. Likewise, an Aries is never lacking in motivation, and they can get you moving when you need an extra push. Together, you can pave a path of inspiration and creativity. You're both action-oriented, and you'll have a great time traveling, socializing and playing together. The only problem? You're both so independent that you may not be willing to commit to the relationship.

I'm a sagittarius..It's true.. I don't know for others too or just me but my bestfriend is an Aries and current bf is an Aquarius,crazy in love! Though I do have many Aqua friend's and had an Aries bf too but in my opinion I'd say Sagittarius are more ''compatible'' with Aquarius.. in the other hand sags get along with Aries very well but also with Aquas.. Judging from your story.. your better of friends with the Aries guy if you think it will not work.

Your astrological signs have nothing to do with it..how compatible do you two feel? Many people don't fit the outline for their sun sign...it's more for entertainment, not to base serious life decisions on.

All I know about the specific dates is that the beginning of the sign is positive qualities, middle of the sign is a combination, and the end of the sign is negative qualities of the sign.
