Hatred is something that we all have to accept. So, yes only the strongest will survive. The strongest that will survive is the one who remains calm, the one who has self love, the one who believes in his or herself. Yes hatred is painful I feel it now, no not from you, yet I know if I remain calm the person who hates me will grow weaker. I in turn will grow stronger. Do like I do and take it in stride. We cannot run from it. You see I am Muslim and because of 911 I am hated. There's nothing I can do about it. So, I accept it.

There is a lot of anger out there right now. I meet with people on a daily basis who have hurting angry souls (using that to mean there general view on things right now. It makes me feel very bad for them. I listen to them talk about what they want to do to someone or how they can get even with that person. They play the victim very well. Just look at the comments on here and similar emotions are being expressed. Many on here say it is just a game or they are joking around but fail to see the influence (and how could they) that they are having on others. A murder took place in my small city by two teenagers who were robbing a gentleman walking home the other night. They stabbed him in the back just once then comment it was not suppose to kill him..we only stuck him one time, what was he a wimpy Christian. (Quote from the newspaper made during their hearing. They also professed to be regulars on Yahoo answers.)

There's alot of hate in this world. But, you can't categorize everyone having the same feelings. But, you need to look inside you. Do you hate? Is there anyone or anything you hate?
Quit worrying about others. Think about what you are feeling. Make an effort to do something kind for one person tomorrow. It could be as simple as a smile, or opening a door. Start with yourself.
You cannot control what other people feel or do. You can only control your reaction to them.

Hate is not a survival tool and is certainly not a trait of a survivor. It is in fact, a hindrance, and a destroyer of mankind. Hate breeds more hate and eventually destroys people. We enjoy a democracy at the moment. Hate is an erosion to our society. The interesting question would be, What is so deeply embedded within us that we can't seem to control the hate and anger, even though we know it to be unhealthy?

The concept of hate has been watered down.
Too often these days anyone who disagrees with liberals is accused of "hating".
Here's an example of something that is NOT hate, but would be interpreted in today's politically correct atmosphere of being "hate".
John 2:13-16
Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.

Hate is a particularly unhealthy manifestation of fear--usually fear of the unknown. The more secure people feel in their life, the less likely they are to fear or hate someone else. But the more frightened they are... think of the analogy of how a frightened dog is the one most likely to bite.
Unfortunately, many current governments as well as the media play up fearful topics--"if it bleeds, it leads." So despite the fact that we are safer today than we were fifty years ago, because of medical advances if nothing else, many members of society are even more fearful, and thus even more hateful.

I am not any of those things. I know you weren't saying everyone is. But a lot of people start out nice and kind and become bitter and hateful. I have been burned a hundred times for being nice but that's not going to deter me from being me. Everyone who is able to stand up and not let others make them hateful makes a difference. I know it doesn't seem like you can make any difference against the masses but you can- just love and be peaceful and teach peace to anyone who's willing to learn it from you. Be part of the solution you know?

Love One Another As I Have Loved You
(John 13:31-35)
Shortly before he is arrested, on the night before he was killed, Jesus tells his disciples a new commandment, “Love one another as I have loved you.” I want to say three things about this beautiful Gospel verse--the commandment, the condition of the commandment, and the outcome of the commandment.
This is Jesus’ last message, his last words, the last important instruction for us. This is what we are supposed to do: love one another. Notice that Jesus doesn’t say, “It sure would be nice if you loved one another.” He doesn’t say, “Perhaps you might think of loving one another.” He doesn’t say, “At least, love the people who are nice to you.” He says, “This is a new commandment I give you: Love one another.” That’s that. Instead of the ten commandments, instead of “Thou shalt not,” he says, “Thou shalt love one another.” This is the job description for the rest of our lives. This is the work before us.
I think that love is like a road. Love is a path. There are many roads and paths we can take, but if we follow Jesus, we walk one road, one path: the road of love. The road of love leads to life, which means it is a way of life. It also means love has boundaries. On the road of love, some behavior is no longer permissible.
God Bless You
