Small gambling town on the border of Nevada/Utah real close to the Bonneville Salt Flats. This is also where the group who flew the Enola Gay was based at, they have a small museum in the "airport" with news articles and they had a replica of "Little Boy" last time I was there. Also one of the planes used in Con Air is sitting out at the airfield. I've been to Wendover several times on a flight program they run in conjunction with the casinos. They used to have one to Elko NV, but it shut down last year. If you like to gamble it's a pretty good place to go, especially if you come in on one of the flights. It's a inexpensive 3-day vacation from numerous cities across the US. If you don't like to gamble I would suggest going somewhere else, unless it's during Speedweek.......we were their last year and it was fun to see all the tricked out cars in town, unfortunately we didn't get out to the flats to see the real action.
