I am a 22 yr old female & have been really self conscious. One night me and my best friend were in a chat room and met a guy who lived in our town. We sent him a picture of her. Well, me and this guy kept talking and grew into the best of friends. We talked on the phone every single day for hours and I kept sending him pics of my best friend & saying it was me. Every time he wanted to meet up i would say i was scared of relationships and needed more time. We kept falling more and more in love with each other. This went on for 2 yrs until finally about 2 weeks ago he got upset and said he couldnt do it anymore. I then confessed about my lies. He was upset but seemed to take it pretty well so we met up on New Years even and it was perfect we even kissed. The whole next week we went out every night and i was completely in love with him. Then a few days ago he started acting strange and saying that he couldnt be with me and that I had hurt him so badly. I keep trying to tell him it was the

worst mistake of my life and ill never lie again. He just says that he was lied to and manipulated for 2 yrs. I love this guy more then anything in the world and i cant lose him. I keep trying to convince him to be with me but hes still skeptical. He says he loved me more then anything in this world but he cant get my lies out of his head. How do I prove myself and get him to be with me? I know that I cant be without him...please help

a relationship started on lies is built on quick sand , if you were able to carry this off for 2 years what else are you lying about, there will be no end of speculation on the guys part, He is angry that you took 2 years to tell him the truth, because in that 2 years you could have been dating and really getting together, instead you choose to carry on lying about the reasons why you could meet, Sorry but I can not see much help for you It is a sad thing that you choose to do this and a very sad thing that it is ending so badly

have you ever taught maybe he's keeping something from you also and that he's lying, well even if he's not then he really doesn't deserve you and he really didn't love you because if he does then he would have let bygones be bygones and forgive you and both of you would have start a whole new relationship. so what im going to say is just ask him what is going on and the reall reason he's acting strange and if you guys still cant be together , i will say just let it be he might not be the right one for you anyways.

Ok, it got cut-off at the end, but you should not push him cuz it might freak him out, so just say,"Can we still be friends? I really like you. And I only lied because of how much I thought you were awesome. I wouldnt hurt you cuz I think you're a loser!"

If he's telling you he can't/doesn't want to be with you, then my best advice is to let him go. The easiest way for him to come back to you is if you make it clear that you truly love him and want what's best for him, even if that means that it's not you. Think about how you'd want to be treated, and then do that. Good luck. I'm glad you were finally honest with him. You can be proud of yourself for that.

Well maybe he isn't feeling the relationship any more. You did lie and leing is bad and that was what your relationship was built on so its not really going to work.
