Can you give a dog human medicines?

such as cold tablets ie;dayquil

I gave my dog cough medicine when he had kennel cough. The vet gave him some antibiotics for the infection. I don't see why not I just wouldn't give the animal a whole lot.

Not sure. I do know this man that had a dog get struck by lightening. The dog was almost dead and he gave him an aspirin and he fixed right up!

Not anything with ibuprophen or Tylenol. A little aspirin is o.k. So are antibiotics.
