My advice to you is to talk to a person who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and the Savior.
My advice is to get to a Bible-based church.
Jesus Christ died for our sins. He died because God loves us and wants a relationship with us. So, He came to this earth in bodily form so that He could look at us face to face.
Jesus Christ is not just the Son of God, He IS God. He sacrificed Himself for our sins because He loves us. We were all doomed to death. Jesus is the first to rise from the dead, therefore defeating death. Believe in Him, and you will defeat death too, and spend eternity with Him.
Don't fool around. Talk to someone who knows God and loves God, not someone who has the same doubts and questions as you.

WRONG! Read the bible. It states that for so God loved the world that he sent his only beloved son to free us from our sins. It continues throughout the bible in the book of Matthew, John and Luke about his passion and how the Romans condemned him to be crucified. Read the scriptures and you will discover the truth.

You speak of what you don't know. Jesus is alive and well. He layed down His life to wash our sins away, and after three days, rose again. He is not dead.Praise the Lord! You sins can only be forgiven if you invite Jesus into your heart and life and accept Jesus as your personal Savior. No free rides here!

Your friend has misconstrued the gospel. God sent His willing son to die for our sins so we could have the chance for eternal life with Him.

Can't blame it on me! I wasn't there at the time. I was over at the Coliseum, watching the gladiators duke it out to the death.

Jesus who is Gods son gave his life it was not taken by anyone he did it in order to gain us forgiveness from our sin
you can read his own words in scripture
John 10: 17. The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life--only to take it up again.
18. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father."

God loved us so much that he sent his only son to die for our sins. Why should he want to kill his son?

your friend is right.
according to the "Bible" this God fellow sent his son to earth to be murdered and he (god) being "all knowing" forsaw what was going to happen.
and i dont see why "god" needed to kill his only kid, to forgive our sins, if he is omnipotent why doesnt he just forgive us???
why torture his kid so that we could go to this heaven place???
