My boyfriend recently broke up with me saying he just likes his freedom, which i was fine about. His mate likes me now & suddenly my ex wants me back but before the texting started he told me we should just be mates. I really care about my ex but im unsure about his reasons for wanting me bk what should i do? I have asked him if this is what he really wants but im so scared i will get hurt again because he cheated on his previous girlfriend with me & the only reason i found out about him havin a girl was because 1 ov his m8s told me.

The reason he wants you back is b/c his mate likes you now. There's an old saying - you want what you can't have. He wants you back so his mate can't get with you. You should not just go right back to him (even though you may really want to). He sounds kind of immature and you going back right away will just keep him thinking he can do and get whatever he wants. Make him work for it a little. Tell him he needs to change (and why, guys are dumb and need specifics), tell him you are in the relationship too and you have needs. It all isn't just about him. Stand up for yourself, you're in the driver's seat.

If someone cheats once they will do it again. It's so obvious that now someone else is into you he want you back. It's making him jealous. Just get over him their are other fish in the sea. Believe me you will get hurt again. He did it before he will do it again. he want to make you his little booty call b/c he knows you'll take him back. prove him wrong, Girl. You've got it in you. I dont think u should get back with him I think he only wants u back because his friend wants u. It wouldnt be a smart idea to date the friend either just let him know u are honoring his wishes to just stay friends and u dont have time for his wishy washy ways. He made a decision and should stick with it. It sounds like he dont want u but he doesnt want anyone else to want u either. good luck

If he wants you back because one of his friends like you that is just selfish of him but its hard to tell sometimes what a man really wants so I would say just let him sweat it out for a little bit to see what he really wants to do and as for his friend if he really cares for you he will understand your situation and still be there when you figure things out... so no rush and things will be more clear on who really wants you

He broke up with you, don't go back with him!... You heard him, he wanted his freedom. He still wants his freedom, he is just doing this so you don't go with his friend. Once he accomplishes what he wanted, he'll leave you again.
