Zephaniah was a minor Old Testament prophet. You should read this book if you get a chance it's short. but I must warn u it's pretty pro-Israel and might piss u off.

The number of prophets sent to mankind ranged over 100 thousand.
Only the story of 26 were mentioned in the Quran as examples for the believers.
He might have been one if he preached: One God and everyone was His creatures.

ISLAM'S god is the god of Abraham Isaac and Jacob the same one as Psalms 83:18Â and Exodus 6:2 And God went on to speak to Moses and to say to him: “I am Jehovah. 3Â And I used to appear to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as God Almighty, but as respects my name Jehovah I did not make myself known to them
The word ALLAH means THE GOD. so yes they think zephaniah was a great prophet.
