After vomiting I get petechiae which is red/purple dots under my eyes. I'm wondering what I can do to get rid of them faster since I've very fair skinned and they look gross.
I've tried cover up but that just makes them shine even more :(

This was the first time vomiting in a long time, I was cleaning up dog poop and was just really grossed out and I have a weak stomach so I threw up. No biggie. It's not a problem. I just have always gotten these petechiaes after throwing up and am wondering how to get them done...thanks for all the concern though :)

not much you can do. The blood vessels are strained, and that is what is causing it. Put some cold compresses, and then use eye cover up.

It is normal to get petechiae after vomiting. If you are really sick just stay home and get better and you will look fine by the time you go out. If you are vomiting on purpose you have bigger problems than the blotches on your face. You are eating away the enamel on your teeth and ruining your throat (in this case you need psychiatric help)

You can reduce petechia by using Anusol which is designed for hemmoroids. It's fast acting and efficient.
I also suggest you get your BP and toatal system checked How often does this vomiting occur to have petechia be a constant problem? Alcoholism, bulaemia, anorexia all come to mind in this question
