Some people are more fragile than others and will get severely depressed over the smaller things and some people are strong and it takes throwing a boulder at them to even affect them.
Each person is different each person has different levels of severity in their problems and find different ways to cope some find posotive ways to make them selves feel better but some people have more harmful ways to cope. Some people out there have xanthophobia (fear of yellow) may sound pretty strange to some of us but to some it may be pretty frightening.
As for me I could go through the death of a loved one but it depends on when it happens, My grandparents are very old so it is expected they have a shorter time than most it will hurt but I will get through it I know that along when the time comes for my own parents but if my boyfriend died young I don't think I could cope without him, he helps me day to day through so much and without his support and him just being there I don't think I could make it through alone.
Sometimes other things will make me feel pretty grim on my outlook on life such as my mental state but I often know I have my good days and my bad so I wait them out till one of those good days come even for a moment no matter how desperate I feel I know things can always look up they often have and there are more of those days to come, but we all have our breaking points.

The majority of the time, I think that the individuals mind will help to make the person's life terrible and interest them in committing suicide.

In order for ME to consider suicide, it would be from a chemical imbalance in the brain and never because of the lemons life hands me.

it's not really a matter of how bad life gets, it's a matter of how bad you *think* life is within the confines of your own mind... most people who have ever gotten to the point of actually harming themselves will, in retrospect (after time has passed), be a little dumbfounded by the fact that they were ever that low.
when you're depressed, truly depressed, the world is so black that something as simple as burnt toast could send some people over the edge..maybe that's stretching it a little but you get my point

I consider it a permanent solution to temporary problems. Besides- it could be a helluva lot worse on the other side. Don't believe suicide brings relief-- it could be the opposite.

Well I've already considered it quite a bit but decided against it.
I still think of it but there are people who care about me here, and that's really the only reason I'm still around.
I guess, I would have to lose them, or they would have to quit caring, before I actually went through with it.

If I were a burn very badly. I've been burned pretty good once, so I know the feeling. I still wouldn't do it though. But I would ask for no medical treatment. Perhaps that the same thing.

I've been there many times. It sucks because nothing is fun not even what you used to love. you feel like you'll never be happy again, and you feel like a waste of space. You don't like being awake. Nothings going right and you feel like your bringing everybody down, which akes you sadder. It makes me mad when people tell you not to kill yourself because your family will be sad. That only makes me more depressed like I can't do anything right. I hope this answers your question.
