Also: I don't think my wife does less than me, and I'm not complaining... the natural fact is I am wondering if I'm doing enough?

If I wasn't pulling my weight, my wife isn't the type that would tell me, which is why I'm asking here.

Ummm...too bad you are already married because you sound like the perfect man to me! IF she's not happy and claims you don't do enough, show her what it would be like if you really did nothing and take a week off! IF she leaves you because of it or you two can't work it out...send me an e-mail! Men like you are hard to comeby and a very few and far between!

Sounds like heaven to have a man help. I was working 10 hrs a day and coming home to make 6 course meals and doing all the laundry and cleaning. But thats one of the reasons Im not married anymore. Its fair.

It sounds like your wife probably does a little more than you think, take a look at who gets the kids up and dressed, helps with their homework, after school and weekends activities (kids are a lot of work).

If you feel that you are doing more of the physical work than you would like, talk to her and see if you can't swap so of the chores.

sounds about even, the big question is do you both work outside of the home? Another question: can you talk to my hubby? He could learn a little from you. If you ask me, your wife's lucky.

Well, in some ways I feel your trying to, but not actually coming out and BIT*hing! :-)

Your a man, it looks like a healthy one at that.

I'm sure your wife does a bit more than what you say and you probably do too!

IF you don't think she's holding up her share, TALK to her about it.

Talk Talk kiss, hug kiss some more and TALK.

Assuming that you both work it seems pretty evenly split, unless the kids are very close in age and young.

You both appear to be contributing...if it's working for you two stick with it...if either person feels over-burdened then you need to talk about it and see if any changes can be made that are equitable.

Well, it sounds very, very fair but the person from whom you need an assent is not online but is living with you. Is it working OK?
