First of all, make sure you are getting enough vitamins/minerals and drinking plenty of water. After that I would say use a good shampoo and conditioner that nourishes your hair. Before you shower, brush your hair thoroughly to detangle your hair. Comb through the conditioner and leave it on for a minute or two. I use a microfiber towel to help absorb water quickly from my hair so it doesn't get as damaged when I blow dry it. Use heat activated products to minimize damage from styling tools. NEVER brush your hair when it is wet, only run a wide-tooth comb through it. Use as few products as needed and stay away from dimethicone (stuff like Frizz Ease). It doesn't moisturize the hair, it just seals the cuticle and can actually start drying out your hair. Make sure to get your hair trimmed every six weeks or so to keep the ends healthy. Don't sleep with your hair up and be wary about different styles that can cause breakage. Use the "no breakage" bands for hair and try sleeping on a silk pillowcase. It also helps reduce breakage that cotton pillowcases can cause. Also deep condition your hair as needed. Here's to beautiful hair!

Folic Acid and keep it real moisturized. Taking a multivitamin also helps. The healthier you are the faster your hair will grow!

Keep putting heat in it to a minimum and wrap it with a silk scarf at night. Works like a charm :-) smile
