We were about to have sex and he got soft all of a sudden. What's wrong with him?

Don't take it personally. It happens to almost every guy every once in a while. If he's young or inexperienced he could have very little control of his erection. He could have gotten distracted or some how felt inadequate and lost it. Some medical conditions such as erectile dysfunction, circulatory problems or depression could have caused it and some medications could also be the culprit.

If he is relatively healthy and this doesn't happen all the time, it's probably nothing to worry about. Men get embarrassed by this so don't make a big deal over it when it does happen.

Well, if you guys just had sex or had a lot of sex the previous couple of days it could simply mean that you need to pace yourselves more. It could also mean that you need to engage in my foreplay. Finally, he could have an ED problem or he's gay. I doubt that it's because you're ugly. Being drunk is also a probable explanation, but in my experience that means really drunk, not tipsy.
