I noticed a dark line in the back of one of my front four teeth on the top. It is at the top of the tooth, very faint. It's one one of the teeth next to the two front teeth.
Can this be a cavity? If so..how do they fill it? I am going to the dentist on Thursday..and I'm in paranoia mode now..teeth are sooooooo important!

More than likely it's a little stain from coffee, tea, soda....usually appears right along the gum as a dark line. Calm down, the hygienist will get it off! Unless you have a lot of decay in your mouth, I doubt you'll find decay on the front teeth, they get brushed better being smile teeth.

The dentist can tell even if it truly is decay by technique of taking an x-ray or by technique of checking in the journey that they placed the probe into the hollow even if the teeth cloth is mushy (you are able to try doing this your self see you later as you're careful). even if it truly is a small hollow area they probable received't do something about it until eventually it receives better. you are able to placed this off by technique of excellent oral hygiene

maybe a crack not a cavity... fixable
If it is a cavity, the DS can colormatch the fill to your tooth shade.
