Last week I proposed whether I should cheat on my girlfriend this past weekend with a past "fling" who was in town.
Many of you were kind enough to answer my question so I thought I would give you an update.
Well I met up with this past "fling" and she was lookin pretty tempting, and as I mentioned last week she was making herself available for me.
Much to my surprise I didn't really cheat on my girlfriend. We just made out for old times sake, but when it came to having sex with her the thoughts of my girlfriend prevented me from engaging.
So does that still count as cheating?

The truth is you didn't love your girlfriend enough to not "make out" with this other person. You wouldn't have even had to think about cheating on your girlfriend if you really loved her. You probably haven't even told her about your weekend. If you find the courage to tell her I don't think she would see it as "not really cheating" on her. If you do really love her, was it worth risking the relationship over a past "fling" as you say? Tell her what happened and deal with the consequences. Maybe she'll give you another chance. Personally, she needs to find someone better than you.

You still cheated on your girlfriend. the fact that you were even thinking of sleeping with this woman is bad enough. And if you do care about ur girlfriend the best thing you could do it tell her the truth. by lying about it and then her finding out will make it much worse. But if you come out and tell her she will be mad, but may respect your honesty. The fact that you wanted to cheat in the first place actully shows that you may not be happy in this relationship, maybe you should think about what you want.

Whether you had sex with her or you just messed around with your "fling" it's still consider cheating. You wouldnt want your girlfirend going off kissing, making out, or doing anything other type of sexual contact with any other guy but you. You would consider her cheating on you if she had. So yes you still cheated on her and if you dont feel guilty of that then you probably dont care for her like you should. So you might as well just tell her and move on.

I think it is cheating... My husband did sort of the same thing and our marriage almost ended. So you better hope your girlfriend never finds out because she may not be as nice as I was to my husband. I know you may think its a fling but in my opinion if you love someone or atleast think you love them then why do something you know will hurt them even though you know they will never find out, cuz you will still know.

Your pathetic! If you plan to cheat on your girlfriend means you don't care for her stop waisting her time. You don't deserve her. Pay back is a *****! You'll remember that. You'll never be happy with a girl at the way your going. IF you do like her is it worth throwing away what you have with her..Stop and rethink everything. Peace.

Yessir, this is still very much cheating. I won't sit here and lecture to you, because it happens everyday. It isn't like you wanted to have those feelings. I'll skip all of the BS.

Any sexual act is cheating, that including kissing. Technically it's cheating even just going out to dinner.

Uhhh....yeah its still call cheating.You made out with another person without your girlfriend knowing so that's called cheating.
