No, I wouldn't break up with him, 6 months is a long time but if you care about him a lot.. then i wouldn't cheat on him.. no doubt it will be hard since you used to see him everyday and talk to everyday as well.. My bf now is doing a 3 month sentence... he gets out in 2 weeks.. but i never cheated on him, yes it was hard cause i so seen him almost everyday and talked to him and texted him all the time... but i care about him so much that I waited for him to get out.. i made sure that i talked to him about everyother day and wrote him twice a week to update him on what has been going on. So basically if u love and care about him, and he is worth it to wait and not cheat then don't...

You're still with him....why?
*Gives you the SQUINTY EYE*
Why are you still in a relationship with a criminal? What did he do to land in jail? Is it something he will continue to do once out of jail? What are you going to do when he gets caught again and lands in jail for a year? Two years? Three?
I think it's time to stop visiting this man and figure out why you're in a relationship with him in the first place.

If my significant other did something to land them in jail for 6 months I'd think I'd break up with them anyhow!! Do you really want to be in a relationship with a criminal? Tell him its over and go see someone else; someone who isn't in jail, who's never been to jail, and never plans on going to jail.

Depending on what he's in jail for, pursuing the relationship may not be wise. If communication with him is possible, then you should probably end the relationship if you are anxious to date elsewhere.

Christanine: That's good because you seem really shallow.
Umm... if your other is in jail for six months, why are you here? this person is no good.
Unless you sincerely believe that he was innocent, I promise that there will be another six months in the future.

Yes you should CHEAT. You have needs too. JUst make sure the guy you cheat with understands whats going on and that your only having sex with him UNTIL your boyfriend gets out of jail.
I write a blog dedicated to this topic, Cheating on Your Girlfriend. If you are curious on how its done, read up:

If you're thinkingn of cheating on your boyfriend, then you probably don't really want to be with him deep down anyway, regardless of the circumstances.

If this guy won't tell you what he did to get 2 years in prison, i'd get my name changed and move.
