I am just wondering what the best way to clean mini blinds is. I can't detach them from the window, I've tried sparying them down with cleaner and then wiping them, but it doesn't do anything but make the blinds look even more dirty.

A quick and easy way to do this is to wipe them down with a dryer sheet, using gentle pressure – first when the blinds are turned down, then when they're turned up. It really picks up the dust and there is no liquid mess to worry about.

if you cant take them down, i have seen cleaners made especially for mini blinds, they are kind of like a very wide toothed comb with fuzzy material over the teeth, that fit right in between the blinds. check www.solutions.com..

try dusting them once a month. Also, instead of cleaner, try water and a paper towel if they are actually dirty and not just dusty. Or like above, take them to the car wash, but don't use too much pressure.
