Yes she can file, and if she made over $5150, she is required to file. I If she has any unearned income, then the limit can be much lower than that.

She'll check the box on her return that says she's a dependent of someone else, and she won't get a personal exemption because you'll get that. She'll get her own standard deduction though.

If she isn't required to file but had any federal taxes withheld, she should file to get that refunded to her - if she doesn't file, she won't get it back.

She can file, and should if she's receiving a refund, she just can't take a personal exemption. She can only be claimed as an exemption on one return.

yes she can file but she can claim herself as an exemption if you can claim her.

As long as you both don't claim her, you should be fine
