Is it your view that the public should not be exposed to the evidence against Darwinian evolution? - This is how it is in communist countries - control of choice.
Intelligent Design does not say anything more than this or that feature of the universe (including within life) are better explained by an intelligent cause - nothing more. It doesn't suggest whether the designer was the God of the bible, Zeus or the spaghetti monster. However, if simply inferring design offends you, then sobeit. But don't let such a straight forward inference offend you to the point you are afraid to open your pet theory to critical analysis.
Thank you very much. Please vote for my answer :-)
Good ID reference attached....

If we should teach Intelligent Design to "teach the debate" should we not teach
- holocaust denial in history
- satanism
- Fundamentalist Islamic revisionist history of the evil of the United States?
- Timothy Leary "Turn on, tune in, drop out". Hey, were not saying its right, but we should teach the debate about drugs and education!

I think it is important to have a comparative religion course in schools so we can learn about the different religions of the world and maybe understand our differences a little better. This will never happen because the "Separation of Church and State" wackos would have a kaniption.

I personally find it offensive that they are still referring to the norse gods as "mythology" in school.
We should learn the theories of creation in science class as told by the romans, greeks, vikings, egyptians, africans, and family guy.

There are certain credible theories along with some evidence to go with it. None of the stupid things you mentioned are either.

No, those are all garbage. But we need to start teaching the alternate theory of reproduction - you know, the stork, or was it finding babies under cabbage leaves?

ID propnents do not want equal time....they want to be the only game in town. ID is ridiculous.
We should teach what we know. We know that evolution has happened....is happening and will happen again. Period.

If there's science to back up the theories, why not expose our children to it? Why not expand their minds and let them discern for themselves?

If one were to be fair, then yes........It belongs in a class with those, and NOT a science class.
