What's special about chocolate you ask,
Is it the taste that makes you want to bask,
Under the sun which would indeed make it melt,
Or the fact that too much would mean loosening your belt.

Is it the taste that is creamy and smooth?
Or the fact that it will always lift a bad mood?
Is it the way that is melts on your tongue?
Or the way it is loved whether one is old or young.
Is it the way it can cover nuts or fruit?
Or simply be shaped into Hanukkah loot?
Used as a dip or spring from a fountain,
Made to lay flat or piled up like a mountain.
Eaten in a cake, cookies, ice cream or straight,
Early morning cocoa or in a mixed drink when it is late.

I must end this answer as my mouth is watering so,
Since I have none around the house - off to the store I go.
I need to pick up some dark chocolate or maybe creamy milk,
Both that melt inside my mouth as smooth as Asian silk.
Exploding with a taste that is way beyond divine,
Cause I do LOVE my chocolate - it's special - and it's mine!!

Got it? Get it and you will! Enjoy!!!

Personally I think it's heavenly. I love the taste and I love the texture. It's great when you're going through PMS and believe it or not there's actually a chemical in chocolate (can't remember what it is) that helps during those hormonal fluctuations. Some time ago I also read that chocolate provides the same chemical reaction in the brain that marijuana does...but on a different level. It doesn't make you high like that (and it doesn't burn out brain cells), but it provides a calming effect. Wish I could remember where I read that, but it was too long ago.

Where to begin??
The delights of chocolate cannot be measured in words, it must be experienced with the senses. It is an fabulous and spiritual, hightened by a texture like velvet and taste that I would sell members of my family for. It is beyond language, it just is!

Very over-rated. Except Thornton Continentals - now they are worth going nuts over.
