Get a copy of Songwriter's Market. Some libraries carry it in reference, but you might want to just buy it for less than $20.
Here's what it covers:
*1,400 completely updated markets for songwriters, including music publishers, record companies, producers, managers and more!
*Countless resources for songwriters, ranging from support organizations and conferences to retreats, grants and websites

Songwriter’s Market lifts the veil around the music industry to teach aspiring songwriters about the inner workings of the business. In addition to the market listings, there’s nearly 100 pages filled with articles and interviews that shed light on every corner of the music world. Readers will learn from working songwriters, film composers, producers and even record executives! It’s a must-have for every songwriter’s library.

I'm just sharing an idea with you:

Try to make a video clip, open a Director account at Youtube then download your videoclip to be seen by the world!

But, I don't know if you still have control on your copywriting after that.

the reply is on your query... when you dont allow any person listen them how can they get them out within the open?... OK, might be this is a copiwrite factor, quality, get them protectedn however then you definitely need to get them in the market If it have been me, I might begin with regional bands that you simply suppose would do them justice, get them heard via a couple of, and thesedays practically all bands make recordings of them PROTECT YOUR RIGHTS!, HAVE A CONTRACT THAT ALLOWS THEM TO PLAY THE SONG, BUT YOU STILLO OWN THE RIGHTS TO IT, AND FOR SURE DONT GIVE THEM AN EXCLUSIVE, AND MAYBE EVEN GET A ROYALTY FOR EVERY TIME IT IS PLAYED ECT.
