I need to blow dry to give my hair volume. Air drying just leaves it blah! But if you have a perm, that would be the way to go. But for all other cases, I'd say blow dry. I use an ionic blow dryer with a brush style attachment and this shapes the hair as you dry. No holding the dryer in one hand and the brush in the other. Too much process. This is simple and the hair comes out great. I often don't need to curl it this way! And always dry your hair from both sides, meaning flip your hair pointing to the floor and dry from underneath as well as from your regular combing upright position.

I always blow dry. I dont have enough time to air dry. Air drying is a lot better for your hair though. But I like blow drying more.

Air dry is better for your hair. The heat from the hair dryer damages your hair.
If you like to blow dry, set at a lower setting.

It depends on your hair type. If its dry/frizzy/curly its usually best to let it air dry once in a while. However if you have greasy hair/ predominantly straigt, its better to blow dry because it wont be as damaging to your hair bc of the moisture in your hair. Also it will give limp hair a boost and make it look more volumnous.

Everyone's hair is different. It's a lot healthier for your hair to let it air dry, but I know if you have super curly hair like ine, it totally frizzes out if I dont tame it with a ceramic brush and a blow dryer.
If your hair is naturally straight, or it curls well, it's best to let it air dry, but if your hair is gross and knotty like mine, take care of it with a bloe dryer and some product.

Air drying is healthier for your hair, but sometimes you really need the hair dry fast.
