do you wish you could take it back? LOL

I just wanted to see how many judgmental fools would come out and as always there's no shortage.

Why should anyone give something to someone who doesn't want it, couldn't care less, and just thinks you're an idiot and is more than happy to use you? There are more DESERVING PEOPLE...and wrong, some people ARE undeserving.

Yes!

I gave a 16 year old kid a car one time for his birthday.

He sold the wide rims & tires and abandoned the car on blocks.

The police came looking for me, but I had submitted a release of liability, so they couldn't make me pay for the towing.

No. Sometimes I wish I could turn the situation around and make the person feel the way I do, but when that happens, it never feels as good as I thought it would.

Absolutely , I hate to be nice to others only to be stabbed in the back or lied about by the same people that I try to help.
From now on let's turn into an uncaring, uncharitable, nonchalant society so we can be more selective in helping people who can help us
in return.

Never!

I am blessed by what I do for others, no matter who they are. When I give something to someone, I expect nothing in return. For once I give it then it is theirs to do with as they wish.

Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might.

Do to others what you would have them do to you. - Matthew 7:12.

Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever, is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things. [Philippians 4:8].

Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. Source: John (ch. VII, v. 24)

The very concept of a human being undeserving of having something good done for them is appalling. Is this the new Christianity?

Jesus said to love even enemies, and really none of us are deserving of the opportunity to gain everlasting life, yet Christ died for us. Would he want to take back the merit of his sacrifice because the majority of people don't even ackowledge what he did for us? It's frustrating to give when it's not appreciated by the receiver, but God loves a cheerful giver!

No, never. We're not here to hold other people's sins against them or to hold grudges. We're here to win them to Christ with love. When someone responds positively to something good I've done for them when they know they don't deserve it, it is the greatest joy to see the their reaction and the love that it sparks. I like doing kindnesses to people who wrong me almost more than people who haven't. It's just like Jesus said. The ones who are forgiven more, love more.

No. If we do things for others, especially disadvantaged, and we do it for a pat on the back, congratulation's, or to get paid, we are doing it for the wrong reason and it's not from the heart. Why care if we get a hip hip hoary or not? You did it for THEM and not for yourself. I guess that's why they call it a good deed or a gift. free..... It is more blessed to give than to receive.
