No, it is supposed to be punishment, not a free ride until they can get out and do it again.

Personally I do not think they should. That being said, most prison guards are in favor of it because it makes dealing with the inmates easier. Generally speaking when the inmates are preoccupied with TV and other activities they are less dangerous.
I still feel that prison is not a fun place with TV but the more accommodations you give prisoners the less incentive they have to leave and stay out of the correctional system for good.

No, you are getting punished. I don't even thain that they should be able to sue the prison for wrongful treatment. There should not be a weight room in prison because they are only getting out of prison mad and ripped. Inmates should be given books and job training prison so they can be put back into society.

Well, the Supreme Court to Sheriff Joe Araipo in Maricopa County that he had to give the prisoners Cable TV so he provides them with Disney Channel and the Food TV network. Google him, he does a lot of things in Law Enforcement that would be considered progressive.

HELL NO. And I disagree with what our world has come to. Especially in the US. They are in jail for a REASON. THey broke / violated the law, and in many cases they have FOREVER MORE VIOLATED THE LIVES of so Many innocent people. THey should not have ANY rights at all. Why would we have to PAY , the people the citiziens of this country have to PAY for thier 110 cable tv channels? For their internet access? For their VIDEO GAMES? They are in there so they can think and act about what they have done to society and to the victims they victimized! NOt worry about who will win the Super bowl!

No, there no reason for them to be getting free cable or any other entertainment. And for news they should get just the local newspaper and maybe a shared radio..

No we need to make it as uncomfortable as possible. Thats why i support capital punishment and smile when some is put to death. But i do get upset, but only when these human rights and aclu jerks cry about the POSSIBLE pain in the execution. GOOD make it as painful as possible!

Nope. Incarceration shouldn't be in a country club. Let them read books, attend classes, and do the time society gave them for their crimes.
