can one request post mortem compensation for Gulf War Syndrome?

uncle got cancer when he returned from the first Iraq war and died, he had all the symptoms.

the compensation is for the individual with the Syndrome ONLY. So no you can not get the compensation for someone who died. You may be able to request compensation for medical bills related to the syndrome, but the VA should have taken care of your Uncle if he was diagnosed with it.

No, his VA case passed with him!

What did they pay as a death benefit? $600 or $2000?

You can request all you want, but you'll get a form letter back.
