Many people who ask and answer here are all about being Christian, fundies, or whatever, or "hating on" peole who are. Can we get some real meaning attached to this category? Can you please drop all that label stuff and find common ground?
BTW I think the present Pope is divisive, derisive, and damned. John Paul was an inclusionist. I think the whole world is suffering from this papacy. You'd think it would just be for Catholics, but I don't know... ideas flow outside of labels anyway. Post some positive ones!

I believe that there is a Creator who does not mind whether we view Him/Her as masculine, feminine, singular, or plural. Therefore, I like to view Her as feminine, like Mother Nature. Nature is just so godly to me--every tree, every plant, ever rainstorm--that I cannot separate it from God.

I believe in the "one river, many wells" theory that all paths lead to this Creator, and no one belief (as long as it doesn't condone harm to others) is "wrong." Or "right," for that matter.

I believe in the Golden Rule ("do unto others") and in harming none and in karma. I believe that in general, people are good, and that most people who are not good are in some way hurting--which doesn't mean we shouldn't protect ourselves against them.

Unitarian

There is one God, a creative and eternal spirit dwelling in all living things. We follow the teaching of Jesus - peace, tolerance, love, kindness, compassion, generosity, etc.

All humans have worth and dignity and should be treated with respect.

Do good unto all people, help others, share, live together in peace and freedom.

We have no doctrines that must be believed, no holy book that is God's word. Our affirmation reads: Love is the doctrine of this church, the quest of truth is its sacrament, and service is its prayer. To dwell together in peace, to seek knowledge in freedom,
to serve human need, to the end that all souls shall grow into harmony with the Divine. Thus do we covenant with each other and with our God.

i am apostolic pentecostal,

beliefs we believe the Bible and preach out of it. we believe in baptizing in jesus name, the Father Son and Holy Ghost are tittles and different roles that God has and that there is a name and that name is Jesus, and Jesus is God. we believe when you are filled with the Holy Ghost for the first time it is accompanied by speaking in tongues. and then after that anytime you are edifying yourself. as well as the gifts like tongues when you edify a church then you will have an interpreter. we believe you are saved by faith as well. however we believe faith without works is dead. we believe if you truly have faith then you will obey Gods commands. and go out and witness, and pray daily, read Bible daily, and live a christian life. and not be of the world. we believe you must be born again and this is being baptized and being filled with the Holy Ghost. for it says unless you are born of water and of Spirit, S with the cap refers to Holy Spirit, however we are also not to judge. we do have some strict rules that we go by. but does not mean we say it is a sin if you do them. like having a tv or something. just that having like a tv you put yourself in temptation to watch shows you dont need to. anyways though. you can go to upci.org for more info

I believe in a Creator, because the design of the universe is apparent if you just look. I believe that revelation from this Creator would be uncharacteristic of Its traits as seen in nature. The only ways of getting to know this Creator is through Its Creation and our Reason this is what is known as Deism.

I disagre with you about this pope. I think he's trying to find his way back to core Christian values, but having a hard time BECAUSE of "big tent" popes of the past.
