Pedro is Spanish and Portuguese form of PETROS (originally Greek name which means the rock, and that's how Lord Jesus Christe names his disciple Simone). In English and |German it is Peter, in French it is Pierre, in Italian Pietro, in Serbian it is Petar etc...
It is interesting to note that pedro in Spanish and Portuguese means also - a rock, as petros in Greek.
