We just put in a new laminate pergo floor and we were wondering if rubber area rugs would stain it.

There is a good possibility. You are best to also purchase a suitable carpet to hardwood padding, They generally are very thin, also a tannish rubber waffle type material, but should not stain the wood. You may notice some dulling over time, but you can buff that out.

Spray with a foaming bathroom cleaner, wait a few minutes and then scrub. Still there - then apply straight bleach and scrub. Should come out.

Do not ask the retailer.!...Call the manufacturer of the flooring. Pose the question to them. I could tell you anything, but, if I am wrong I will not guarantee your floor.....
