shes in heat! So dont let her out and if you do.....in 12 weeks time she'll have kittens! My female cat had one lot....which was fine because I had deffinate homes for them all...but the 2nd time she was being taken to the vets by a friend and on the way back to the car she escaped the cat box! She was missing for a month and then someone said theyd found her......she came back preggers!...its lovely but its hard work....so if you don't want all that you can get her done.....there are vets that give out a voucher and you can get them done for free....anyway good luck with ya little kit!X

Don't let her out or she'll be pregnant in no time flat. Vets won't neuter her until she's finished so you'll have to live through this - earplugs are useful. It'll probably last 2 - 3 days, worse case a week.
As soon as she's finished - and I mean straightaway - get her into the vet to be neutered because she could come back into season very quickly.
Unfortunately neutering a female cat does require an operation which can be pricey - do your homework now to get a fair quote.

Has she been spayed yet? If not she would perhaps be in season. Cats in season tend to make lots of noise and rub against issues. in case your different cat is an entire male - be careful! as quickly as she comes out of season heavily evaluate getting her spayed. If she's already spayed, does she look as though she's in misery or discomfort? the different signs and indications? once you're worried a visit to the vet could be priceless.

She is in heat - in other words, she's looking for a "mate" to take care of some natural business and to make kittens. The only way to fix this is to fix your child - which is called spaying in females and neutering in males. Most procedures are now a no-overnight stay, meaning if you drop your kitten off in the early AM you'll be able to pick her up in the early evening.

Well, unless you've just given her some serious catnip or another stimulant, I'd get her to the vet now. That doesn't sound normal to me.
Edit - well, I bow to clear greater understanding of cats below. Sounds like she's in heat! I've only ever had male cats so I guess it never occurred to me! And please please get her spayed. There are far too many unwanted cats in this world already, and until the rescue homes are emptied it would be good if people would desist from bringing more kittens into the world.

If it's a queen she is probably in heat only three things you can do, 1 put up with it , 2 mate her, 3 have her spayed.

She's in season. You will have to keep her in or she'll get pregnant (and believe me she WILL). In a weeks time when its over you can take her to be spade.
When our cat was in season it was like a Hitchcock film. We had rows of tom cats queing up at the front door.

She is in heat trying to attract a male partner. Unless you want kittens I would keep her inside for a while.
