I didn't know they were bad for dogs. Should I be worried?

Actually, I've heard that grapes (and raisins/prunes/plums) are not very good for your dog. If your cocker is handling them OK and you are only giving 3-4 a day then no big deal. But I used to give them to my dogs when I ate them...but I don't anymore. Its just not worth the risk that they could get sick from them. Besides...the skins on the grapes can irritate their stomachs/intestines and lead to softer/runny stool.

well after 6 years its ok maybe wean her off them tho. I had a cocker who we got when I was 12 or 13 and he was 3 years then he lived until I was 23 he would have been around 13. The dog ate everything (including almost all our easter chocolate the first year we had him he got it before we woke up to find it)Dusty was always in chocolate and icecream and even got a roast out of a roast pan on a counter top without knocking the roast pan over or leaving anytype of water trail(roast was just out of the oven and it was like it vanished)Don't worry too much.

You should really just feed your dog DOG FOOD. Dog food was made specifically with a dog's needs in mind. If you want to give your dog a treat you can try DOG TREATS.

I even have my dog convinced that ice cubes are yummy treats on a hot day. Talk about a cheap, healthy and safe dog treat.

If you really want to feed your dog something else you should talk it over with your vet BEFORE you test it out on your dog. Don't ever give your dog something unless you know it's okay first.

Treats that are made for dogs are the best way to go. Your dog may eat anything you give her, but that doesn't mean it's okay for her to eat it.

You can't change what's already been done - if she seems fine, I would just stop feeding her the grapes & not worry about it too much.

If you're very concerned, you could have the vet do blood testing on her to make sure her kidneys are OK.

If she is having diarehia and stuff yeah you should be worried, cuz dogs don't respond well to stomach problems. But if not then it should be ok don't feed her grapes anymore and definitely never ever feed her milk. It's better if you feed her food that doesn't contain lots of water, like watermelon <-- bad choice.

My dog got into orange peels on Saturday and all he got was an upset tummy and threw up a bit. I read a website that said that raisins aren't good for dogs but I didn't read that grapes were.. if she threw it up well then she is probably okay with it. This web site said a dog ate 2lbs of grapes and died.. but that is a really excess amount! http://www.fleascontrol.com/dog-eat-grapes.htm

I didn't know grapes was bad.. There are myths that raisens and garlic is bad but this isn't all true.. some dogs can't have it and some it doesnt' both them.. I would contact your vet and ask them . If they say don't give them to her then i wouldn't.

Our Spaniel used to help herself to the grapes from our low vines in the garden...and she only chose the ripe ones ...smart dog...she absolutely loved them!... ....

I wouldn't worry unless the dog shows symptoms.

I didn't know they were bad either. I wouldn't give her grapes with seeds in them.
